How to use this pack

Making every sense come alive

These sensory stories are designed to bring each Bible story to life through all five senses. Each story has four scenes, and each scene has four or five sensory prompts. You do not need to use all of them — choose what works best for the person you are supporting.

The stories work alongside the YouTube sessions, interactive puzzles and activity workbooks — but they can also be used completely on their own.

⏱️ Pace

Go slowly. Allow time between each prompt. There is no rush. Let each sensory experience land before moving to the next.

🎮 Props

Carer's tips at the end of each session suggest real objects to bring in. Simple things make the biggest difference.

💬 Language

Read the story text aloud, simply and clearly. Use the person's own name wherever it feels natural and meaningful.

❤️ Emotion

The “Feel” prompts are the most important. Give extra time here. Feelings are the gateway to meaning.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Participation

Encourage participation at every level — from full movement to simply being present and listening. All responses are valid.

🙏 Prayer

Each session ends with a simple prayer. Speak it together, or read it aloud on behalf of the participant. It belongs to them.
